The play of the american writer Israel Horovitz presents us with a fictional situation where the German chancellor offers redress to the descendants of Jews exiled after World War II by allowing them return to the land of their forefathers. But it doesn’t end there. She also guarantees them full naturalisation, stable employment and a standard of living. The play then narrates several parallel stories of a diverse group of people who, for one reason or another, either take up on or refuse the offer, as well as those who are suddenly moved to respond to shifts in the formerly stable geopolitical world map. The piece explores plurality: of thought, of attitudes, life decisions and social and human values. Its structure, followed thoroughly in the Bratislava production, involves brief and densely informative tragicomic situations of an almost mosaic blueprint, gradually layering multiple storylines that come to a surprising finale.

Az amerikai Israel Horovitz 1996-ban született műve egy képzeletbeli jövőben játszódó politikai sci-fi. 70 évvel a náci táborok felszabadítása után a német kancellár felhívást tesz közzé a világszerte szétszóródott mintegy 6 millió zsidó számára, hogy jóvátételként munkát és stabil életkörülményeket biztosít számukra Németországban. Van, aki elfogadja, és van, aki elutasítja az ajánlatot. Különböző gondolkodásmódok, viselkedésformák, döntések, társadalmi és emberi értékek ütköznek egymással tragikomikus szituációkba sűrítve, mozaikszerűen egymás mellé rendezve. Az egymásba fonódó történetszálak meglepő fordulattal érnek véget.

5th year students are graduates of the Academy of Performing Arts. Their performances can be seen in the artistic projects of the Lab Theater, where they form either the production team or the cast of the production itself. They are presented in innovative, experimental and semi-professional productions not only on school grounds, but also at domestic and foreign festivals or in professional theaters.

A társulat a Pozsonyi Előadó-művészeti Akadémia ötödéves hallgatóiból áll, előadásaikat a Lab Színház művészeti projektjeiben mutatják be, melyekben alkotóként és előadóként is részt vesznek. Innovatív, kísérleti és félprofi produkciókban is szerepelnek, nem csak iskolai keretek között, hanem hazai és nemzetközi fesztiválokon, valamint profi színházakban is.
